Chinotto House is a commercial and residential interior design firm helmed by Chelsey Cox and Rachel Rector. With the belief that good design can be transformative, we specialize in crafting bold interiors that are reflective of our clients’ uniquely personal way of life.

We are based in sunny Gainesville, Florida but work across the United States. We keep an eye out for special projects that allow us to stretch our imaginations and creativity. 

CHELSEY COX

Chelsey boomeranged back to the sunshine state after 8 years in Louisville, KY working for an interior design firm and a boutique hotel company along the way. She has fostered a lifelong passion for aesthetics, travels everywhere she can, and has a degree in Art History from the University of Florida and an Art Business Masters degree from Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York City. She loves not only creativity in design, but creativity in the kitchen, where she spends her free time hosting dinner parties and crafting cocktails for friends and family.

RACHEL RECTOR

Rachel has a deeply rooted and ever-evolving passion for color, materiality, form, composition, and story. Shortly after graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Art History, she launched an independent lingerie and swimwear brand, RR Lingerie. Later, she turned her sights toward interiors, enrolling in UCLA’s Architecture & Interior Design Program, where she gained the conceptual and technical skills to bring extraordinary projects to life. Her pastimes include learning to speak French and exploring the Florida Springs.
